Situated in the heart of Hepburn Springs village, The Argus Dining Room is the newest culinary experience in the Daylesford & Macedon Ranges. Located in an original 1930’s Art Deco dining room, guests can enjoy a fresh, seasonal menu in understated but sophisticated surroundings designed by interior designer Stuart Rattle.

The Argus Dining Room serves Modern Australian cuisine with an emphasis on regional produce.

Utilising produce grown onsite in the Argus Kitchen Garden, the menu is also supplemented by rare breed cattle and sheep from the owners nearby farm ‘Birch Estate’ in Smeaton

The Conservatory

For cafe style more reminiscent of European sophistication, the charming Conservatory at Peppers Mineral Springs Retreat in Hepburn Springs is rapidly becoming a feature on the regions’ epicurean roadmap. Located on the back terrace of this heritage hotel, The Conservatory opens out to all day sun, and is elegantly furnished with an inspired assortment of soft cushioned banquettes, comfy cane chairs and hanging pendulum cane lamps. Open to the public and hotel guests 7 days a week, The Conservatory serves a gourmet breakfast buffet, afternoon teas and coffees.
